From I-95:
Take EXIT 56. If you are coming from I-95 SOUTH, you will take a LEFT off the exit . At the first light you will take a LEFT onto Leetes Island Road. If you are coming from I-95 NORTH, you will take a RIGHT off the exit onto Leetes Island Road.
Stay on Leetes Island Road for ONE AND A HALF MILES to junction 146 where there will be a STOP SIGN. CROSS Route 146, going STRAIGHT, and continue for one half mile on THIMBLE ISLANDS ROAD. Go under a RAILROAD OVERPASS and the library will be on the LEFT.
Parking is available behind the library, off of Rextile Road or in front of the library on Thimble Islands Road.
From Route One (Boston Post Road):
Take Route One to Leetes Island Road (the Chowder Pot Restaurant is located at the intersection of these roads). Stay on Leetes Island Road for TWO MILES to junction Route 146. There will be a STOP SIGN. CROSS Route 146, going STRAIGHT and continue for one half mile on THIMBLE ISLANDS ROAD. Go under a RAILROAD OVERPASS and the library will be on the LEFT.
Parking is available behind the library, off of Rextile Road or in front of the library on Thimble Islands Road.
