Tax Collector: Delinquent members have until February 15. After that action will be taken.

Legal and Zoning: None in Stony Creek.

Police and Traffic: The Board reviewed the aerial photographs and parking space counts worked out with Janice Plaziak, Town Engineer. Spaces at the commercial dock are to be posted as “Commercial Only” and the “Permit Only” signs and practice will be discontinued. The 4-hour spaces near the Town Dock will be in effect from 6:00am to 6:00pm and will allow for overnight use. The Committee will be meeting with Janice again on February 23.

M/S/C to authorize the Committee to designate 120-minute parking in front of the Market and near Creekers if that is what the proprietors want.

Maintenance: Bob Babcock and Sandy met with First Selectman DaRos to pursue further the intent to establish a Commission for Stony Creek. Unk indicated things continue to move in that direction, but slowly.

Administration: E-mail was less active last month – mostly additions to distribution list. About 155 members have signed up.

Ted Ells pointed out that there are a number of out-of-date items in our by-laws.
M/S/C to have Ted draft a list of the items needing change, along with recommendations. (No time limit was given.)

It was noted that Mike Infantino has reached his four-absence limit. Dan will notify Mike and contact the candidate who got the next-highest votes, Maura Page, to see if she is available to assume the seat Mike has vacated.

Old Business: Dan read an e-mail from Sandra Vlock explaining how there came to be a notice for removal posted on the maple tree in Bay View Park.

New Business: The Treasurer handed out a budget worksheet for the Board members to consider in preparation for upcoming budget discussions.

M/S/C to adjourn the meeting at 8:50 P.M.

Respectfully submitted,
Ron DeFord, Clerk
