A meeting of the Stony Creek Association Executive Board was called to order by Vice President Marvin Zimmerman at Willoughby Wallace Memorial Library at 7:36 p.m. on Tuesday, April 1, 2008.
Present: Peter Brainerd-President, David Baker, Marvin Zimmerman-Vice-President, Greg Ames-Treasurer, Jake Greenvall-Tax Collector, Bob Babcock, Dottie Leachman, Ron DeFord, Dan Bullard, Nina Smith-Clerk.

Tax Collector: All paid except one.
Legal & Zoning: There were no requests for variance.
Police & Traffic: 1. No parking lines were painted in various places without police authorization. Will be looked into.
2. An issue about the right to use the access road that extends up from Prospect Hill Road is being contested by the parties involved.
3. Nina developed a graphic showing how SC Market owners would like the parking restriction signs to be placed outside the market. The signs would make restrict the three-vehicle area immediately in front of the market to one hour parking from 8:00am to 5:00pm.

Maintenance: No report.
Administration: After discussion and adjustments, it was moved/seconded/carried to approve a 2008-2009 budget of $28,350 – a 2% increase over last year.
Old Business: 1. Jimmy Weil, operator of the Puppet House, is in very bad health. The town will make sure the Puppet House is secure.
2. David Baker read from the proposed town budget that the proposed Parks & Recreation.budget calls for an increase in PortaPotties in SC, but the department’s budget proposes a 30% increase overall and will likely be trimmed.
New Business: : 1. Bill Donaruma informed the Board that he will be approaching the town about getting a waiver to allow a third-floor residence in the old school building on School Street. The Board thought his request sounded reasonable
2. Sandra Fischer, Dan Bullard, Dottie Leachman, Mike Infantino and Jake Greenvall were approved for the Nominating Committee.
Other Business: Peter read correspondence from Paul Hammer about his ideas to develop aspects of Stony Creek.
