A meeting of the Stony Creek Association Executive Board was called to order by President Peter Brainerd at Willoughby Wallace Memorial Library at 7:40 p.m. on Tuesday, August 1, 2006.
Present: Peter Brainerd-President, Marvin Zimmerman-Vice-President, Gregory Ames- Treasurer, Bob Babcock, Michael Infantino, Dottie Leachman, Stan Fisher, Ron DeFord, Sandy Fischer, David Baker, Nina Smith- Clerk.

Minutes: A motion was made/seconded and unanimously approved to accept the minutes of the July 11, 2006 meeting with the following correction: under Police and Traffic the sidewalk should ease into an incline made wider and more gradual from the road to the sidewalk.

Police & Traffic: 1. Street lines are not done.
2. Dumpster at the dock has not been locked, unable to get any answers at the town hall.
Maintenance:
1. Steps at the beach have been repaired.
2. The wall has not been repaired, the cost will be approx. $50,000.
3. Five (5) doggie signs are up.
4. Sign at the Post Office has been fixed.
5. Water fountain crack has been repaired. Future repairs should be made.
6. Drain at the Post Office finished, catch basin drain installed.
7. Garbage collection has been better.
8. Puddle on the side street of Bayview Park needs to be filled in. Stan will take a look at it.
9. Request to buy two (2) rakes for beach clean-up, and two (2) trash can covers. A motion was made and seconded to spend up to $250.00 for these items.
10. Six (6) to eight (8) sidewalk squares need to be repaired. Also, it was requested to replace the driveway entrance that was taken away and never replaced when sidewalk repairs were done at 273 Thimble Islands Rd.
11. Can the inclines be shaved? A motion was made/seconded and unanimously approved to proceed with the work and repairs on the sidewalks from Riccio Const. Co.
12. Empire Paving Co. states that the work on Leetes Island Rd. to widen and repair the sidewalk of about 1,000 ft. will cost about $6,800. It was suggested that because it is a state road that the State should receive a letter concerning the repairs. Stan will send a letter to Senator Meyer about the sidewalk and state that Leetes Island Rd. is a state road.
13. Letter was sent to Alex Palluzzi and copied to Parks & Open Space Authority concerning the beach area. This letter was drafted by Ron DeFord who is also a RTM member.
14. There was a discussion concerning distribution of SCA information to the public. Can the minutes or should they be posted in public places?
