A meeting of the Stony Creek Association Executive Board was called to order by President Peter Brainerd at Willoughby Wallace Memorial Library at 7:35 p.m. on Tuesday, August 7, 2007.

Minutes: A motion was made/seconded and unanimously approved to accept the minutes of the July 10, 2007 meeting.

Tax Collector: Taxes are being paid.
Legal & Zoning: No new requests.
Police & Traffic: 1. Security light has been installed at the Summer House.
2. Grant for a Security light to be installed at the dock.
3. Stony Creek Boating Assoc. sent a letter agreeing with the installation of the Security light. Teenagers were reported entering private boats, taking tools to be used to open the electrical box and then shutting off the Security light.
4. Lines have been painted at the Dock.
5. Bob Gott is sympathetic with the parking problem.
6. A suggestion was made to have a Committee meet with the new Police Chief.
7. Police patrol and enforcement is needed in our area.
8. RTM is planning a meeting with the new Police Chief.
9. Could we co-ordinate the meeting with the RTM or would a separate meeting of the Association give more attention to the problems of police and traffic?
Maintenance:
1. Garbage collection on as needed basis, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
2. Peg suggested getting plastic bins for pizza box refuse.
3. AB Sealers price is $14,000.00 for Leetes Islands Rd. The price is $2,000.00 more. A motion was made/seconded and unanimously approved to move $2,000.00 dollars into the sidewalk fund.
4. Request a budget to maintain the Beach and Parks.
5. Letter went to Alex Palluzzi concerning the portable toilets in Bayview Park and Madeira Park. Cc: Cheryl Morris, Selectwoman.
6. Letter went to resident at 37 Prospect Hill Road concerning the road condition on Thimble Islands Road.
Administration: Stony Creek Village Tag Sale is on Saturday, September 8, 2007
Old Business: Paul Hammer would like to address the Association at the next Board Meeting.
New Business: Memo was left to be read to the Association members concerning the time change on Saturdays at the Stony Creek Post Office.
A motion was made/seconded and unanimously approved to adjourn the meeting at 8:50 P.M.
