A meeting of the Stony Creek Association Executive Board was called to order by President Peter Brainerd at Willoughby Wallace Memorial Library at 7:40 p.m. on Tuesday, September 4, 2006.
Present: Peter Brainerd-President, Marvin Zimmerman-Vice-President, Gregory Ames- Treasurer, Jake Greenvall-Tax Collector, Dan Bullard, Bob Babcock, Michael Infantino, Dottie Leachman, Stan Fisher, Ron DeFord, Sandy Fischer, David Baker, Nina Smith- Clerk.

Issues were discussed concerning the lease and operations of the Stony Creek Quarry before the September SCA meeting.
Minutes: A motion was made/seconded and unanimously approved to accept the minutes of the August 1, 2006 meeting.

Tax Collector: Taxes are being paid.
Legal & Zoning: Variance application for an addition at 528 Leetes Island Rd. No action necessary. Also, at 250 Thimble Islands Rd. the flag pole is flying a business flag. Will have the Zoning Officer write a letter stating this is a Residential area.
Police & Traffic: 1. Parking at the end of Thimble Islands Rd. is still a problem. Dan will
address this problem at the next Police Commissioners Meeting.
2. Area of curbing is not painted yellow, on the water side, therefore it is difficult to get out of Squaw Brook Rd. onto Thimble Islands Rd.
Maintenance:
1. $2,000. for bollards at Lewis Memorial Triangle was received from the town. Also, Shelly Brothers sent out a quote for repairs and cleaning of the monument.
2. Both Peg Hall and Alex Palluzzi responded to the letters sent concerning the trash pick-up and condition of the beach.
3. Paul Riccio will send out an estimate for Leetes Isls. Rd. sidewalks and to slope the necessary driveways.
4. The town gave us one ring for the receptacle.
5. Letters need to be sent out to Pat Widlitz and Ed Meyer concerning the toilet.
6. Stan wrote to Senator Meyer concening the repairs needed on Leetes Islands Rd. Has not received a response.
7. David called East Shore Health about the condition of the Port-a- Potties. Nothing has been done to date.
8. Grant held up for the benches at the dock. DEP requested two (2) items be fixed. One is a drain and the other is the salt marsh.
9. Large puddle near Bayview Park. Stan will review.
Administration: Tax district report has been sent out.
A motion was made/seconded and unanimously approved to open an account at Superior Saving to hold the Tax Collectors account. Jake Greenvall and Greg Ames will be signatories.
Old Business: Snow removal contract and advertising will be done at the end of September.
A motion was made/seconded and unanimously approved to adjourn the meeting at 10:00 P.M.
