Maintenance:
1. Jancie from Public Works feels that lead abatement is necessary for the Summer House.
2. Sidewalk survey: there are approximately 25 blocks to be replaced. From the top of Thimble Isl. Rd. to lower part of Thimble Isl. Rd. and top of School Street.
3. Dock area: problem with right of way for electricity, making sure no more excavation is necessary, paving won’t happen until spring.
4. Benches: no prices yet.
5. Post Office drain: Ed is pricing this job.
6. Sidewalk on upper Thimble Isl. Rd.: CL&P making sure they can move poles and town has enough room for sidewalks.

Administration: Ad was placed in the newspapers for bids for snow plowing.

Old Business: Flag pole work completed.
Specifications for the New Park Toilets were revised and booklets handed out. Looking over the site plans, floor plan and estimated costs a question was asked as to the size of the toilets. Could the storage area be reduced and the facilities be enlarged for more than one toilet? A great job was done, giving all the specifics for this project. A motion was made/seconded and unanimously approved to proceed applying for grants and to go forward with this project.
