Executive Board Meeting
October 2, 2007

A meeting of the Stony Creek Association Executive Board was called to order by President Peter Brainerd at Willoughby Wallace Memorial Library at 7:40 p.m. on Tuesday, October 2, 2007.

Present: Peter Brainerd-President, Marvin Zimmerman-Vice-President, Gregory Ames- Treasurer, Jake Greenvall-Tax Collector, Dan Bullard, Bob Babcock, Dottie Leachman, Stan Fisher, Ron DeFord, Sandy Fischer, David Baker, Nina Smith- Clerk.

Absent: Michael Infantino

Minutes: A motion was made/seconded and unanimously approved to accept the minutes of the September 4, 2007 meeting.

Legal & Zoning: No report.

Police & Traffic: 1. Association will discuss the proper traffic pattern for the Village Tag Sale . for the year 2008. Due to the number of people coming into town, the
Parking was a problem. The motion to meet with the Police Chief was
Tabled until the Nov. 6, 2007 meeting.
2. A member of the Association came and discussed the noise level and the vandalism due to the activities at the Puppet House.
3. Under the Police Administration it is possible to have a Constable on duty in Stony Creek.
Maintenance:
1. Leetes Island Rd. sidewalk has been completed.
2. Missing concrete on School St. needs to be replaced.
3. Getting estimates on roadway and drainage.
4. Benches in Bayview Park need repair.
5. Replace table in Bayview Park.
6. Blake Family would like to donate a new bench in memory of Anna Blake.
7. Repair side of beach.
8. Poison Ivy growing on wall in Bayview Park.
9. Dan will contact Mr. Gott about the mirror for the end of Squaw Brook Rd.

Administration: 1. Letter to RTM re: Bayview permanent bathrooms.
2. Letter to Board of Selectmen Re: Bayview Park permanent bathrooms
with the Grant proposal attached.
3. Letter to Selectman Morris re: Post Office purchase.
4. Board Poll-PTB sending a letter to Cheryl Morris reference sale of the
Post Office and looking into the town purchase of same. Unanimous-10
members responded “yes”.
5. Snow removal –Contract needs reviewing-Ads are ready to go into the
newspaper. Letters will be sent to Andy DaRos and Jay Brown. A
notice will also be posted in the Kiosak.
6. A letter was received from Michael Infantino and a check for $600.00
from the Thimble Island Cruise Companies to pay for the light and
installation of the fixture installed in the Summer House.
7. A motion was made/seconded and unanimously approved to pay the
Contractor for the installation of the light at the Summer House.

A motion was made/seconded and unanimously approved to adjourn the meeting at 9:00 P.M.
