Police & Traffic: No report. But, one concern was mentioned about a sump-pump being piped out of a basement and directed to run off onto the sidewalk and run into the street on Thimble Islands Road. This matter will be looked into.
Maintenance: The signs at the dock are level and even. The sign on Thimble Islands Road is going to stay where it is. No change of sign will be made. Paving of Thimble Islands Road may be postponed another year? We will have to wait and see. The six benches to be placed on the dock has been approved, but do we need all six benches there? Can two of them be placed elsewhere, somewhere near the water? This will be looked into.
Administration: Two letters from the Church of Christ were received concerning the Christmas Pageant and the minor traffic-flow problems. Peter will send out letters to those who helped set up the Christmas tree and strung the lights for the Holiday Season.
Old Business: Talks are still underway concerning the toilet facility. It was suggested to give the First Selectman time to settle in before approaching her concerning this project for Stony Creek. Sandy will touch base with the First Selectman after the first of the year..
New Business: None.
