Executive Board Meeting
December 4, 2007

A meeting of the Stony Creek Association Executive Board was called to order by President Peter Brainerd at Willoughby Wallace Memorial Library at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, December 4, 2007.

Present: Peter Brainerd-President, Marvin Zimmerman-Vice-President, Greg Ames-Treasurer, Bob Babcock, Dottie Leachman, Ron DeFord, Dan Bullard, Sandra Fischer, Stan Fisher, Michael Infantino, Nina Smith-Clerk.

Absent: David Baker,

Minutes: Unofficial meeting in absence of a quorum. Motion was made/seconded and unanimously approved to accept the minutes as amended.

Motion was made/seconded and unanimously approved to pay bills for Nov. 1, 2007 and Dec. 1, 2007.

Tax Collector: No report.

Legal & Zoning: 1. Davis Island- Solar array, no action.
2. 10 Linden Point Rd., variance 31/2 ft. set back, no action.
3. 30 Linden Point Rd., variance, increase boarders to six for B&B, no action.
Police & Traffic: 1. Removed yield to pedestrian sign.
2. Chief DeCarlo meeting is scheduled for 12/6/07 at 7:00 p.m. at the Willoughby Wallace Library.

Maintenance: 1. Tilcon surveying for repaving the roads.
2. Electrical bill for light at the dock should be paid. A motion was made/seconded and unanimously approved to pay the $300.00 bill.
3. A Granite bench will be donated in memory of Mrs. Anna Blake.
4. Sandy attended the Brfd. Park and Rec. meeting.
5. Sandy, Bob, Ron and Stan will form a committee to meet with the Parker Commission to find out how there commission is run. They will list the things that are needed and form a budget. This commission will be formed to control and manage the recreation in Stony Creek.
6. A motion was made/seconded and unanimously approved to write a letter to Alex Palluzzi at the Park and Rec. Dept. The letter will state that there is a need for more port a potties because of the volume of visitors in our village and request the need for them to be cleaned frequently.
7. Bob Babcock and Dan Bullard will attend the Finance Meeting.

Old Business: 1. Motion was made/seconded and unanimously approved to accept the bid for snow removal from DaRos & Co.
2. Motion was made/seconded and unanimously approved to resend a letter to the First Selectman to use the Old Community House for storage by the SCA.
3. A suggestion was made to re-address the sidewalk on upper Thimble Islands Road to the First Selectman.

New Business: The SCA meeting should not be held on the same day as Election Day in the future.

Other Business: Andrew Gullans informed the association that several rock concerts were booked at the Puppet House.

A motion was made/seconded and unanimously approved to adjourn the meeting at 8:15 P.M.
