A meeting of the Stony Creek Association Executive Board was called to order by President- Dan Bullard at Willoughby Wallace Memorial Library at 7:37 p.m. on Tuesday, November 3, 2009.

Minutes: A motion was made/seconded and unanimously approved to accept the minutes of November 3, 2009.

Legal and Zoning: No new variances. Variance for Gould Lane has not come up at the Legal and Zoning meeting.
Police and Traffic:
• Reinstall the “No Parking” sign on the curve opposite the Stony Creek Market.
• Paint no parking curb on the new bump-out in front of the beach.
• Paint no parking curb on the east side of Thimble Isls. Rd. from the beach crosswalk in front of the Church south for 3 feet.
• After a lengthy discussion about the signage at the dock a motion was made/seconded and unanimously approved for the sign to read “6 a.m. to 6 p.m.”
• Police Chief DeCarlo will attend the Dec. 1st meeting and will be added to the agenda.
Maintenance: 1. The Town has allocated $8,000.00 for sidewalk repairs. Lisa will contact contractors for bids on the sidewalks. A letter will go out to Ed Massotta concerning the sidewalk repairs in Stony Creek.
2. Infant seats on the swing set at Bayview Park need to be replaced due to cracks.
3. Giant slide needs some repair work done on it at Bayview Park.
Administration: Nothing to report.
Old Business: A bid was submitted by DaRos & Co. for the snow contract. The cost will be $49.75 for plowing and $28.00 for sanding. A motion was made/seconded and unanimously approved to accept the contract for plowing and sanding from the DaRos & Co. Contact people for additional sanding will be: Dan, Marvin and Lisa.
It was suggested that the association should have a public meeting concerning the 75 ft. T-Mobile cell tower. This will allow the residents to be informed about the impact to our village, this tower will create. We are in a historic district. We feel it only fair that the town hears another point of view. What are the alternative sites for the tower other than the Fire House?
A balloon will be flown on Nov. 15 at 1:00 p.m. at the Stony Creek Fire House parking lot o visualize the height of 75 feet. All residents that are interested are encouraged to attend.
A motion was made/seconded and unanimously approved for Ron DeFord to oversee the process, discussion and date of this meeting. The date will be on Nov. 17, 2009 at the WW Library at 7:30 p.m. Members on the E-mail list will be notified about the meeting by Ron.
New Business: A motion was made/seconded and unanimously approved to send a letter to the town concerning the condition of the road on Rt. 146 from the four corners to Damascus Rd.
Jake Greenvall will contact Phil Brencher concerning the Christmas tree on the Memorial Triangle.
Maura Page is resigning from the SCA Board. The Board thanked her for the time she served.
Deborah Witten will be called to serve on the board for the balance of 2009-2010.
