Executive Board Meeting
May 4, 2010

A meeting of the Stony Creek Association Executive Board was called to order by President- Dan Bullard at Willoughby Wallace Memorial Library at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 4, 2010.

Present: Dan Bullard- President, Marvin Zimmerman-Vice-President, Greg Ames-Treasurer, Jake Greenvall-Tax Collector, Ron DeFord, Michael Infantino, Bob Babcock, Pam Rackliffe, Lisa Carlin, Debbie Witten

Absent: David Baker, Betsy Weiland, Ted Ells

Minutes: A motion was made/seconded and unanimously approved to accept the minutes of April 6, 2010 with the following corrections: Under old business: Legislative Committee not Energy Committee and under Nominating Committee: add Betsy Weiland’s name.

Treasurer’s Report: A motion was made/seconded and unanimously approved to accept the Treasurer’s Report.

Bills: Motions were made/seconded and unanimously approved to pay the following bills:

Date: May 4, 2010 No outstanding bills.

Tax Collector: Two outstanding tax bills, will apply for liens.

Legal and Zoning: No request in Stony Creek. Request on Cut-in-Two (no action).

Police and Traffic: Public works will be painting lines in different areas around Stony Creek. Discussed the parking situation of parking signs “No Bus Beyond This Point” and “No Buses Parking at the Fire House”.

Maintenance: Ed Massotta needs to negotiate with a Contractor for sidewalk repairs on Thimble Islands Rd. A survey will have to be done first before the sidewalk is extended on Thimble Islands Rd. A motion was made/seconded and unanimously approved to write a letter to the State requesting the repaving of Rt. 146. A motion was made/seconded and unanimously approved to buy six (6) arborvitae shrubs in pots to be placed around the port a potties. Cost is $150.00 each. A motion was made/seconded and unanimously approved to donate $100.00 for flowers.

Administration: Nothing to report.

Old Business: Pam reported on the Cell Tower:

Senator Ed Meyers’ bill on the Cell Towers did not come up at the meeting and may be considered next year. House of Rep. Lonnie Reed’s bill on the Cell Towers is now in the Senate. Stony Creek being a Historic District may get alternative technologies instead of the Cell Towers.

New Business: Next meeting will be held on Tuesday, June 1, 2010. Nominations will be made for officers at the 7:30 P.M. meeting. The Regular monthly meeting will follow.

Stony Creek Association Election will be held on July 12th, 2010.

Monthly meeting for July will be held on July 13, 2010 at 7:30.

A motion was made/seconded and unanimously approved to adjourn the meeting at 8:36 P. M.
