Writing Workshop with Amy Barry, an award-winning writer and certified expressive arts educator.
This is a four part series: January 17, 24, 31 and Feb 7
Get your creative juices flowing; unlearn the “shoulds” and “can’t’s” that stop you from putting your thoughts into words and experiencing the joy of writing from the intuitive right side of the brain.
Stony Creek resident, award-winning writer, and certified expressive arts educator, Amy J. Barry will use creative prompts and exercises to help participants jump start new work or move along a project in progress.
The focus will be on short form fiction. Workshop attendees can choose one genre or experiment in a variety of forms: short story, flash fiction, poetry, creative essay/memoir.
Funded by The Friends of WWML, there is no fee to attend the workshop,
but registration is required by Jan. 10 and limited to 10 participants, who can commit to attending all four sessions.
Materials: writing journal or notebook and writing utensil.
